Mena Alexandra suvari born on 13 February 1979, in America is an actor as well as a fashion designer and model. Her modeling career began in 1990. She soon shifted into acting, after appearances in television shows such as Boy Meets World or High Incident. She had her first film part in the drama Nowhere. Her transition into big roles through her appearances as a character in American Beauty for which she received nominations for a BAFTA Award and American Pie and American Pie, both of which gained her wider attention. In the following years, she appeared as the main character for the role of a protagonist in Sugar & Spice (2000) alongside American Pie star Jason Biggs.
